Chromium Contamination

MEL Chemicals patented Isolux media will remove several trace metal contaminants including chromate.

Chromate is a bi product of several industrial processes including chemical manufacturing, tanning and combustion of natural gas, coal and oil. Health effects due to exposure to chromium include liver, kidney and circulatory system damage and skin irritation.

MEL Research is currently gathering data on the efficacy of Isolux media for removal of chromate from water systems.
