Point of Use Systems

MEL Chemicals has developed multi-functional cartridge systems for arsenic reduction. These products uniquely combine highly efficient ISOLUX™ arsenic adsorption media in practical cartridge designs for convenient application at the point-of-use (POU).

ISOLUX Point-of-Use systems are not certified for sale to individual consumers in California. The patented ISOLUX solution effectively reduces arsenic-both arsenic III and arsenic V species-safely.

The quick uptake of arsenic allows for uncompromised flow at the faucet. Plus, ISOLUX consistently demonstrates no hazardous waste generation. The arsenic adsorbed on ISOLUX remains fixed, even in acidic or alkaline environments. The media is USEPA TCLP tested for disposal as non hazardous waste via landfill. ISOLUX media is NSF Section 61 certified for use in drinking water systems.

Below is a table detailing the features of the MEL Chemicals Point of Use System. Further details of the system can be found in the Point of Use datasheet. An Operation and Maintenance manual for the Point of Use System is available for download here.
